Lofty, mountain majesty
Far flung unseen galaxies
Waves of raging, stormy seas
They sing Creation's Song

Geri's Writings

Along with artistic works, Geri has also been creating written works as well. She has written several poems and is in the process of writing a book.

Here is a sample of one of her poems:

Face In The Mirror

When I gaze in the mirror these days, I find that the face looking back doesn't seem like mine The eyes I see, gazing back at me Have been touched by the Ruin of Time.

There's been laughter and joy There's been gladness There's been heartache and tears There's been sadness But each line on my face has been etched in Your grace and You still see the child in me

As I gaze in the mirror Now strangely, I see Your love and Your mercy reflected in me This beauty goes deeper Time cannot erase The expression of Joy You've engraved on my face.

There've been children and puppies and sunny days. There've been storms and sorrow and parting of ways But each line on my face has been etched in Your grace and You still see the child in me.

Yesterday has been laid to rest I'm one day closer to God's very best. Someday I will dance on those streets of gold and never again will I feel old

There'll be love and laughter and joyful reunion There'll be sights and sounds and great things to be doing. But my heart and my soul how they hunger and thirst to gaze into the eyes of my Saviour first. Then each line on my face will be gently erased and You'll set free the child in me.
