A dear friend of mine named this painting for me. He is a professional golfer and tells me that a double eagle is a golf term. I still don't really understand what it means. Eagles represent the "prophetic" ministry of the church. They are far seeing with their incredible gift of sight and they are powerful birds. My painting has two eagles looking in opposite directions so, they don't miss a thing.
